Keep an order list
When orders come in through several chats, it is easy to forget one. Keep a simple order list in a notebook or Google Sheet with these columns:
- Order date
- Customer name and phone
- Item and quantity
- Total and payment status (paid, part paid, pay on delivery)
- Delivery method and address
- Status (to pack, sent, delivered)
- Tracking details, such as a waybill number or rider's phone
Check the list every morning and every evening.
Pack to protect
- Fragile items like glass jars or electronics need padding: cardboard, old newspaper or cloth, and a firm box.
- Liquids and creams need sealed lids, tape around the lid, and a plastic bag in case of leaks.
- Food must be clean, sealed and labelled, and sent by a fast route.
