Finding the right creator is only the start. Next you have to pitch a collaboration they want to accept, agree clearly what happens, make sure the audience knows it is paid, and measure what it brought in. This lesson completes the week 9 assignment.
Kinds of collaboration
- Product for content: the business gives a product, the creator shares an honest review. This still counts as a commercial relationship.
- Paid post or video: an agreed fee for agreed content.
- Affiliate or commission: the creator earns a share of sales from a special code or link.
- Ongoing ambassador: a longer partnership over months.
- Event or takeover: the creator hosts a live session or runs the business's account for a day.
Writing the proposal
Keep it short and about the creator.
- Personal opening: why you chose them, mentioning specific content you liked.
- The business in two sentences: what it sells and who for.
- The idea: what you would like them to create, with room for their own style. Creators know their audience best.
