You have built real foundations: confident use of your phone or computer, professional communication, safe accounts, files and forms, and first steps on a computer. The next step is to try for a seat in the Delta Mentoring Program. The first cohort is a free pilot with 25 seats, starting in January 2027. Applying is itself a useful skill, because job applications in Ghana use the same steps: read the instructions, fill in a form, attach documents and write about yourself clearly.
Before you apply
- Use the official page. On the SydCrest website, open the Programme page. It explains the cohort and has a waitlist form. Join the waitlist there. The pilot cohort is free, so be careful of anyone who asks you to pay a fee to "secure" a seat for you. Use your scam spotting skills.
- Read all the instructions. Read the Programme page and any messages SydCrest sends you. Note any deadline and what you need to prepare.
- Prepare your details. Your professional email address, your phone number and any documents asked for, scanned clearly and named properly.
- Check your time. The cohort runs for twelve weeks with weekly assignments. Think honestly about the hours you can give each week, and plan around work, family and farming seasons.
