Posting live, one post at a time, every day, is tiring and leads to mistakes. Scheduling lets you prepare a week of posts in one sitting and have them go out on time, even when you are busy or offline. Combined with a clear approval step, it is the routine that makes a page manager reliable.
Free scheduling tools
- Meta Business Suite. Free, on the web and in its mobile app. You can create a post for a Facebook Page and a linked Instagram account, choose a date and time, and see scheduled posts in a planner view. Scheduling limits and menu names change, so check what the tool offers when you use it.
- TikTok. Business accounts can schedule videos from the TikTok website on a computer, from at least fifteen minutes up to ten days ahead.
- LinkedIn. Super admins and content admins of a Page can schedule posts when creating them; analysts cannot.
- Third party schedulers. Tools such as Buffer offer free plans with limits, covering several platforms in one place. They are examples, not requirements.
Meta Business Suite does not handle WhatsApp status, so status updates are posted from the WhatsApp Business app itself. Plan time for them in your routine.
The approval step
Agree with the client, during onboarding, exactly how approval works:
- Who approves. One named person, with a backup when they travel.
