Posts start conversations, but conversations make sales. A question about price in the comments, a message asking whether delivery reaches Savelugu, a review on a post: each one is a customer deciding whether to trust the business. For many small businesses in Ghana, the inbox is the shop counter. Whoever runs the page is standing behind it.
What this section covers
The Digital Marketer track introduces community management: replying well, handling a complaint in public and building trust. This section goes further into the daily operating work of a hired page manager:
- The inbox. Agreed reply times, saved replies, labels, passing orders and complaints to the right person, and keeping a simple log.
- Moderation. Platform tools for hiding and filtering comments, removing spam, reporting impostor pages that copy the brand to scam followers, and writing house rules.
- Complaints and bad days. Who may speak for the brand, a holding reply, when to pause scheduled posts and when to stop and call the client before saying anything.
- Live selling. Running a live stream for a brand as a service: the run sheet, taking orders during the stream and following up every order afterwards.
You speak for someone else
When you reply as the page, the customer hears the business, not you. That changes how you work:
- not your own mood. Tired, irritated or joking replies all land on the client.
